EU BUSINESS (UK) Czech president warns of Kosovo knock-on effect 17 February 2008, 16:32 CET (PRAGUE) - Czech President Vaclav Klaus warned Sunday that Kosovo's independence could unleash a domino affect in Europe saying it was a major change to Europe's post-World War II makeup. "Some parties in other states could realise that they do not feel completely at ease within a big state in which they are now," Klaus said in a television interview as Kosovo's parliament voted for independence. "Such a decision concerning the frontiers of a state has not been taken since World War II," said Klaus who was re-elected for a new term on Friday and whose country was part of the old Czechoslovakia until it split in 1993.
