He said that attackers broke into Jelica Arsic’s house and that she sustained grave injuries. Another incident occurred in Laplje selo near Pristina this morning. Some 1.000 students and the faculty of the Education Center "Miladin Mitic" in the village inhabited by the Serbs were evacuated after they were informed on the planted bomb. The facility was soon blocked by the KPS forces. Reacting to the incidents, the Serbian National Council of Kosmet warned of increasingly greater pressure of the Albanians upon the Serbs and called upon UNMIK and KFOR to protect the Serbian population, and authorities in Belgrade to urgently undertake adequate measures of protection of sovereignty and integrity throughout its territory.
