23. februar 2008. 15:18 (Izvor : Tanjug) Serbian PM Advisor Branislav Ristivojevic said that the only solution for stabilization in the region would be the initiation of an emergency UN SC session on the part of the USA, at which the full validity of Resolution 1244 would be confirmed again, as that resolution guarantees the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia. As it is the USA that has most blatantly breached that resolution and the UN Charter, the only solution would be for the USA to enable the reestablishment of the international law in the Balkans, by revoking all the illegal acts, he said. If the USA should adhere to its stand that the fake state of Kosovo exists and that the UN Charter does not apply to the Balkans, the USA will be accountable for all, he said and stressed that, by continuing with the policy of force, the USA is threatening peace and stability in the region and the world.
