Montenegrin police injure Albanian fisherman 12 June 2008 | 11:50 | Source: Beta PODGORICA -- Montenegrin police have wounded an Albanian fisherman at the estuary of the Bojana River, near Ulcinj, a coastal town close to the border with Albania. It came after the man ignored warnings to stop fishing in the Montenegrin side of the river. Montenegrin police said that all measures had been taken with a view to shedding light on the incident in question, which occurred on Tuesday afternoon. Albania has lodged a protest over the incident, and Montenegrin and Albanian police representatives have met in Sukobin, a town near Ulcinj, to discuss the matter.
