Jovan Krkobabiæ (FoNet, archive) Krkobabiæ told Tanjug that he had been out of town, and that he had not yet had a chance to see the motion in question. The Democratic Party of Serbia-New Serbia (DSS-NS) coalition earlier submitted to parliament an initiative to hold an emergency session, the objectives of which would be to reject the deployment of the EULEX mission in Kosovo, and declare the Kosovo constitution null and void. DSS whip Milo Aligrudiæ told Tanjug that the initiative was supported by the Serb Radical Party (SRS), and had been signed by 107 MPs. The For a European Serbia coalition has yet to decide on its position, with Democratic Party (DS) official Nada Kolundija saying that the motion would be considered. There is no need to put every single act connected to the unilateral declaration of Kosovo independence to a vote, because we have already adopted a declaration on Kosovo, and state policy towards it has been determined. I do not believe that there is any need to make a declaration after every single political act made by Kosovos authorities, but nonetheless, well consider it, Kolundija said. The Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) said that they would support the DSS motion. SPS leader Ivica Daèiæ said that state organsparliament, the presidency and the governmentshould take a united stand on the most important state and national issue, Kosovos place as an integral part of Serbia. The SPS thinks that every party in parliament should reach agreement on the most important state and national issues. The SPS believes that MPs should agree to hold a parliamentary session on this matter, Daèiæ said. By accepting the DSS proposal, parliament would confirm that Serbia does not accept the legalization of the EULEX mission, because the missions main objective would be to apply the Ahtisaari Plan envisaging the illegal secession of a part of Serbia, which was an integral and sovereign state, a member of the UN, to whom all international policies and laws applied, as well as the Serbian constitution.
