According to KiM Radio from Čaglavica, Stević, from the village of Prilužje, was attacked by four ethnic Albanians who stole his money. “An older Albanian came out in front of my car and attacked me. He was joined by three younger attackers who pulled me out of my van, hitting me the whole time,” Stević said. He added that he had passed out from the blows, and that when he regained consciousness he realized that his mobile phone was missing along with EUR 50 and RSD 4,000. Stević added that all his van’s windows had been smashed and that the doctors from the hospital in Kosovska Mitrovica had diagnosed him with minor injuries. However, the KPS told Beta today that Stević had been attacked when, in trying to turn his van around, he “carelessly flew into” the front yard of an Albanian household, where children were playing. Seidi Beqiri, commander of the KPS station in Obilić, told Beta that this had led to the fight, and that the assault had not been ethnically motivated. He said that Stević had sustained minor injuries, but that he had not been robbed. One Albanian was taken into custody following the incident.
