UNMIK: Bottles with oxygen confiscated because of documentation 15 September 2008 The spokesperson of UNMIK customs in southern Mitrovica, Adriatic Staviljeci, said that 10 bottles with oxygen, intended for the Clinical and Hospital Centre in Gracanica, were confiscated on Saturday due to the lack of documentation and that they could be collected today, while competent people in the hospital state that no one from the customs has informed them of that. Doctors in the Centre, where most patients are Serbs, warned in the past two days that oxygen reserves in that institution are at a minimum level and are being kept for emergency cases and the lack is due to the confiscation of 10 bottles of oxygen at a customs terminal in southern Mitrovica. The Centre requires between 10 and 15 bottles of oxgen of 50 liters each daily. Medicines and medical equipment for medical institutions in Serb regions in Kosmet have been kept in southern Mitrovica many times before.
