Konačno sam uspeo da pronađem Trifkovićev članak, pod naslovom "Neka nam Bog bude na pomoći", objavljen 4. jula 2008., u Glasu javnosti. Tu je Trifković napisao da je Mekejn "neurotična bubašvaba", citiram: http://www.naslovi.net/2008-07-04/glas-javnosti/neka-nam-bog-bude-na-pomoci/730662 "Dakle, da li da glasamo za Obamu? Posvetivši već hiljade reči za razotkrivanje slabog karaktera Džona Mekejna i njegove prljave prošlosti, na sajtovima ili u „Hronikama“, opravdano postavljam ovo pitanje. Odgovaram: naravno nećemo! Biti protiv kancera, ne znači promovisati nekoga ko je za HIV. Mekejn je neurotična bubašvaba, ali je njegov oponent uništitelj."
