Albanians have committed atrocious crimes against Serbs in Kosmet and the perpetrators of the massacres include former commanders of the self-styled KLA and Kosovo PMs Ramus Haradinai and Agim Cheku, the Milan PANORAMA weekly writes, proving this with yet unpublished photos of killed Serbs. The weekly writes that Serbs became victims to ethnic cleansing as soon as NATO arrived in Kosmet in June 1999. The mass crimes against Serbs are testified to by Italian general Mauro De Vecchio, who was serving in Kosmet at that time. He says he obtained daily reports on the bodies of Serbs and Roma left by the roads. Serbian houses, churches and monasteries were set on fire and torn down, he says, assessing that the aim of Kosmet Albanians was to obliterate any trace of Serb presence in Kosmet. Many photographs that showed horrible crimes against Serbs were taken away from Italian soldiers, while Panorama published exclusively some photos which have managed to remain in their possession. The photos were taken in the region of Decani, which was controlled at the time by Ramus Haradinai, a KLA leader and Kosovo PM, whom the Hague Tribunal acquitted of all the charges with war crimes last year, after all the witnesses in the case against him had died in strange circumstances. ===== http://www.politika.rs/vesti/najnovije-vesti/index.1.lt.html 18:09 NATO: KOSOVSKE BEZBEDNOSNE SNAGE U FUNKCIJI OD 21. Kosovski zatitni korpus æe biti rasputen 20. januara, dok æe Kosovske bezbednosne snage stupiti na funkciju 21. januara, izjavio je u Briselu portparol NATO-a Dejms Apaturaj. Obuka civilnih èlanova Kosovskih bezbednosnih snaga æe poèeti odmah, dok æe intervjui za vojno osoblje poèeti relativno brzo, rekao je on. Apaturaj je naglasio da æe NATO obezbediti da snage budu pod demokratskom kontrolom i multietnièke. NATO je najavio da æe te snage imati 2,500 èlanova i oko 500 rezervista. Bivi komandant Oslobodilaèke vojske Kosova Sulejman Selimi je nedavno izabran za efa ovih jedinica, koje su predviðene odbaèenim planom Ahtisarija.
