Serbs said they do not recognize the so-called state of Kosovo
March 24, 2009

Kosmet Serbs will not recognize the self-proclaimed state of Kosovo and
they have one state only – Serbia, the president of Zvecan Municipality
in the north of Kosmet, Dragisa Milovic, said, addressing thousands of
citizens on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the NATO bombing of
the FRY, wishing that such a criminal aggression that was exerted
against Serbia should not befall any state. We want from our state to
fight with even more energy for Serbs in Kosmet, for Serbian
institutions here, for the integrity of the state of Serbia and we
appeal to everyone that can help to prevent the terror exerted against
Serbs in the 21st century, he said. Referring to the NATO aggression, a
student of the Kosovska Mitrovica grammar school, Nevena Bozovic, said
at the gathering that the big Western democracy had experienced its
downfall, as bombs have become the language it uses. For the first time
after World War II, an entire sovereign nation was attacked under false
and unjust accusations and pretexts, she emphasized. The NATO aggression
has continued to this very day, through Albanian extremists, who have
continued with the ethnic cleansing of Kosmet Serbs, it was said at the
gathering.
