By experiments, I found that it's better to turn off the signals in HDMI than in debe (the monitor goes to sleep immediately). But I've not implemented anything for the audio issue yet (I got distracted by the stability issues on my lime2, which I ended up fixing by implementing voltage changes in axp20x, and cpu speed change).
