* atof-generic.c (atof_generic): recognize snan and qnan in
addition to nan and inf.
* atof-vax.c (flonum_gen2vax): deal properly with nan, snan, qnan,
and +Inf and -Inf codes.
This fixes PR toolchain/43303.
