"This will happen for various reasons on the building side, and is not reason to panic for development snapshots." i think this sentence is slightly strange.. i think panic(9) should be reserved for different contexts (and people were not panicking on the mailing list but simply pointing out the checksum failure). how about: "This might happen for various reasons during a build and can be safely ignored." -f -- if a dog bites you 1,048,576 times, is that a megabite?
