Actually, we are working at the moment on making all the reallocarray() uses outside of the scope of SMALL_KERNEL so that installation media doesn't get affected by this. We wanted to proceed differently, but adding the Oracle copyright notice at the beginning of the kernel message buffer outgrows all the installation floppies by about 400KB (after compression).
