Timo, this is excellent stuff, as I said before. Can't wait to see all of your
changes. And
nothing makes me happier than to have someone else doing bug fixes!
I'm wondering where you're making your changes. Sometime ago I set you up as a
user of the
SourceJammer archive, but you don't seem to be checking any changes in there.
If you want to check
your changes directly into the dev.sourcejammer.org archive, please feel free
to do so. And if you
need me to remind you of your user name and password, let me know.
I have my own request about the move/copy dialog. It would be nice if this
defaulted to the
current folder instead of to the root folder.
I don't think we can upgrade to the latest jlibdiff. To answer your question,
yes, I made many
modifications, bug fixes, and improvements to the original library, so, unless
we're really
careful, we're stuck with that version.
Any bugs that are open on SourceForge really are open. It's been a long time
since I've gone
through the bug list.
All of your long-term items sound great, except for adding old password field
on change password
dialog. We can definitely do this, but I'm not sure of the benefit. If you're
already logged in
(which you have to be to change your password) then we can assume that you
already know your
current password. But if you see a reason for adding this, I won't object.
Thanks again for doing all this stuff. Glad you're enjoying it. You're
inspiring me to get back
into SJ coding myself. Maybe I'll start looking in to the "big three"
enhancements:
1) Concurrent checkout
2) An archive search feature (including full text search)
3) Improving how branching is handled.
Let me know when you're ready for testing.

PS: Albert, of course I'll do a new release when Timo's changes are complete!
