I've started fooling around with Timo's new client changes, and I am quite
impressed. Very nice
stuff, Timo. The new icons look great (though they'll take some getting used to
for me) and so do
the overall look and feel changes. Check in/out project are excellent and so
are the neat fixes to
the diff viewer.
I did encounter a few compile issues that I had to resolve. For one thing, I
modified the build
scripts and windows bat and properties files to include jgoodies forms and the
latest jgoodies
looks.
In addition, there was a bit of a mixup in how the code was checked in. You
started your work on a
version of the source that was a little out of date, so when everything was
checked in, some later
changes were overwritten. I think I fixed most of these, but more testing is
needed.
THis mixup was my fault for not being more involved earlier.
There's also a bug when I try to open the preferences dialog. Looks like a null
pointer in
buildAdvanced().
All in all, though it looks great. Let's work on getting these outstanding
issues resolved, and go
ahead and do a beta release.
