Tom, I'm unable to reproduce this error. Could you send a screenshot of the "tree" view of the file branches?
As for a usage strategy--are you talking about a strategy for using the branching/sharing features? First of all, I have some big ideas to improve the way branching is handled. Look through the devel list archives for details about that. But my strategy is to create different "version" folders under my main project folder. For example: SourceJammer --ver1.0 --ver1.1 --ver1.2 and so on. When I'm ready to start work on ver1.1, what I do is share all the contents of ver1.0 to ver1.1. Then, when I work on a ver1.1 file, I branch that file to 1.1. When I make a bug fix in ver1.0, however, I keep the file shared, so the bug fix is reflected in 1.0 and 1.1. That's basically it. I just branch (usually on checkin) as I work. And then I repeat the whole process when I move to ver1.2. --Rob --- Thomas Conte <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > All, > > I've been playing with Branching in SJ v2.1.
