I'm sorry to be so slow in replying to your message. I took some time off from 
replying to these
messages and I'm trying to go back through the backlog.

I think the problem is that the file you sent me is not encoded using 
ISO-8859-1. I'm not an
expert on text encoding, but I think you need to make sure that the encoding 
style that SJ is
using matches the encoding style your files are using. 

The file you sent looks like nonsense when I open it us on my computer (though 
the various German
and French characters in your message came through correctly). I'm sorry I 
can't be of more help
than that, but that's the best I can do. If you've set your config files to 
specify ISO-8859-1,
then that's the encoding that SourceJammer will use, and this has been pretty 
thorougly tested
with French, German, Scandinavian, and other non-ascii character systems. 

Could anyone out there who uses SJ for one of these non-English languages offer 
any advice or
commentary?
