So, you are suggesting that we can't use the /staging repo in anyway for pkgs going into /pending or /contrib? In other words, pkg reviewers have no way to verify the manifest before a pkg goes to /pending or /contrib or to install a pkg and test it until it is published (ie. they operate blind)? I'm concerned we will fill the official repos with garbage pkgs, which isn't good when we can't delete them. It seems like a missed opportunity that we would get for free just by exposing the /staging repo. BTW. How do you vote for a pending pkg and contrib pkg? Cheers, Jim
