To President Kiir: Please Free Dr. James Okuk Dear President Kiir
Mayardit, if you are not aware of this unreasonable arrest, which I
strongly suspect you are not, then let me be the first to let you know
that Dr. James Okuk has been arrested unnecessarily. This arrest is
condemned by majority if not all the concerned citizens of the newest
nation in the strongest terms possible. Without any slightest doubt,
the unreasonable arrest of Dr. James Okuk is uncalled for. No one in
his or her sober state of mind can condemn Dr. Okuk for writing what
he thought is true and as his inalienable right in his own motherland.
The man has right to write whatever he wishes and arresting him for
that matter is just plain malpractice of justice.
Even though I just dived into guessing that Dr. James Okuk is arrested
for his writings that are published in various websites, it could not
be true that the arrest is motivated by just that. Maybe I am just
overreacting like everyone else who might have taken the same path I
am heading. Yet I am certainly positive that his writings are part of
his arrest if not the whole reason of his arrest.
Mr. President; We firmly know that you did not order this unnecessary
apprehension, but your zealots are responsible for this injustice. I
appeal to you that you take time to think this through carefully and
see to it that this man is discharged.
Please free Dr. James Okuk, and if he committed something wrong that
deserves his arrest, then it would be in the best interest of the
public to make it known to them and his immediate family. Further, it
is normal practice to prosecute a person in the court of law and the
wrongdoer has the right to attorney. GatChearwearbol, USA
