YOUTH TO CONTINUE LAYING BLOCKS FOR THE NEW CHURCH IN SOUTHERN KORDOFAN

Wednesday, 18 January 2012 15:41

Catholic youth in Kumbur Payam, Southern Kordofan, expressed readiness
to continue laying blocks needed to build the new church despite food
shortage and war in the area.

Youth leader Timthaus Osman Anar said the youth resumed work of laying
the blocks on Monday and 13,000 blocks were ready to kick off the
construction.

He said that the volunteers were working hard to ensure that the new
church is built.

Mr Osman added that the only challenge facing the workers is lack of
food and the Sudan Armed Forces warplanes that put the workers in
danger.

He pointed out that the youths are working hard to develop their
country and they have chosen to do so without asking for money for
their work at the church.
