MANDI IN URGENT NEED OF FOOD
Wednesday, 18 April 2012 14:48 The residents of Mandi in Nuba Mountains are in dire need of food to protect them from the threat of hunger that struck the area. The hunger has been attributed by the fighting that took place in Mandi last year. Hundreds of people are without food to eat and are calling on UN’s World Food Program to deliver the food aid they need. Jamal A. said there is no food even to buy in the markets. He added that due to God’s grace people have been surviving on mangos. Mr Jamal said that Mandi does not have adequate water supply either.
