Security operatives have closed the road leading to and from Juba
International Airport.

But director of the airport Kur Kuol, said the airport is not closed,
it is routine security precaution - to prevent unauthorized persons
accessing the facility.

Kuol said that in-coming passengers and outgoing travelers are allowed
access to the facility provided they present their tickets and
identification documents.

Police are on the roads diverting motorists to use alternative routes.

The route to the airport has been sealed since Thursday. The
precaution has affected traffic coming from the road leading to Sahara
