The People of Kajo-Keji County in Central Equatoria State have been urged to work hard in order to avert a looming food shortage in the country and end importation of food. The County Commissioner Muki Batali Buli made the appeal on Wednesday at celebrations to mark the 29th anniversary of the Sudan People's Liberation movement/Army (SPLM/A). Speaking to Radio Miraya, Batali said: "I urged them to redouble their efforts in agriculture and to work hard to produce more food." Batali also called on Central Equatorians to take advantage of a new grinding mill that was recently installed in the State. "Actually in Kajo-Keji we now have a grinding mill and I urged them to work hard so that we are able to feed this grinding mill." Batali also lauded the SPLA for defending the territories of South Sudan from external aggression. "We thanked the SPLA for defending the territory of South Sudan and we pledge our support to them, to our President and to our government," said Batali. "We urge them to keep on and that the population of Kajo-Keji is behind them. In fact in Kajo-Keji there is a response by the youth those above 18 to enroll to go and fight if there help is needed." -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "South Sudan Info - The Kob" group.
