South Sudan's Vice President, Riek Machar Teny has met with
representatives of the National United Democratic Front party (NUDF)
led by party chairman Kornelio Kon Nger in Juba.

During the meeting, the Vice President called on NUDF and other
political parties to work together with the ruling Sudan People's
Liberation Movement party in sensitizing citizens about government
priorities.

He said opposition parties could play a role in informing citizens on
several issues including the ongoing post-independence talks as well
as issues to do with oil, security and the fight against corruption.

The Secretary General of the NUDF party, Taban Luka suggested that
other political parties should be informed on matters they can help
in.
