The ruling party in South Sudan has condemned the resumption of areal
bombardments by the Sudanese Air Force against South Sudan’s
territory.

The condemnation comes one day after the Sudanese Air Force attacked
two areas in Northern Bahr el Ghazal state injuring two people.

SPLM Secretary for Information, Culture and Communication Bol Makueng
wrote in a statement that his party strongly condemns the barbaric act
by the Sudanese Government towards the people of South Sudan, Bakhita
Radio reported.

He called on the international community to bear witness to the
aggression and register it as a violation to the AU Road Map and the
United Nations Security Council Resolution 2046.

Mr Makueng urged the Sudanese people to note that the National
Congress Party does not want peace between Sudan and South Sudan.

He said eight bombs were dropped in Warlang and Warpac villages in
Northern Bahr el Ghazal state on Friday injuring at least a man and a
woman and demolishing their house.
