The county commissioner, Abraham Meen Kuc, told Radio Miraya that the cattle, recovered in more than three weeks of operation, were returned to their rightful owners in the neighboring Chueibet County. "We managed to send back to the citizens of Chueibet County seventy four heads of cattle that I have collected in twenty six days. And those thieves, those cattle raiders who used to mingle up from here and there, are apprehended. We have them; we have good number of them, around seventeen," Meen said. "They are in prison now and they are the first telling us that they have their owner counterpart from the neighboring counties of Cueibet, and even in Panyijar. So with this step, I am just looking into it that exercise the normal trade that they are using is coming down," the commissioner elaborated. At least 20 people have been killed in a series of cattle raiding in Lakes State this month. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "South Sudan Info - The Kob" group.
