 Wednesday, 15 August 2012 15:30

State Minister of Local Government and Law Enforcement on Tuesday
arrived in Tombura County on his official tour of all Counties in
Western Equatoria.

Daniel Ezibon Zingifuaboro arranged for general assessment in all the
counties to reassure the relationship between the citizens and the
organised forces.

While addressing the public in Tombura County, Mr Zingifuaboro
reiterated that security remains paramount in the state.

He said all the borders are to be secured to guarantee peace among the
communities.

Mr. Ezbon urged all citizens to report cases to their county
authorities for investigation other than sending wrong information
direct to the state governor or ministers.

He promised to reinforce the customary laws in all the counties and
warned local chiefs not to solve court cases in private houses.

County acting Commissioner, Hassan Awari Bakhit emphasised on cordial
relationships among the authorities, organised forces, traditional
leaders and NGOs partners.

He outlined achievements in the last 2 years including renovation of
County headquarters, surveying new market, installation of generator
in the town, and construction of Duma Bridge bordering Nagero County.

Mr Bakhit expressed concern about lack of trained staffs in various
departments in the County especially in health, education, agriculture
and social development.

Ezbon assumed office in July and scheduled to visit all the Counties
in the state to speak with all commissioner and heads of organised
forces, plus traditional leaders.
