A businessman in Juba has been sentenced to 18 years in prison for rape.

The 33 year old man was found guilty of sexually abusing a 14 year old girl.

A Police report produced before Juba tribunal court stated that the
man committed the offence in Juba, in July this year.

Second Magistrate, Peter Kimbio, handed down the 18 year sentence and
said it should serve as a lesson to the public against committing
rape.
