On Febuary 26, 2013 at 9:45am, Nuba Reports journalist Ahmed Khatir, witnessed an Antonov plane drop 5 bombs in the area surrounding Buram market. One of the bombs landed directly in the market, igniting the shops and killing Amal Abu Majid, age 28 and Mohamadeen Ahmed, age 36. Five other civilians were injured in the bombing, including civilian Hassan Bakhit, who has a severe head wound.
