ANNUAL INFLATION DOWN TO 16 PERCENT

Prices went up 16 percent between April 2012 and 2013, 13.3 percent
less than in March.

The National Bureau of Statistics said annual inflation increased 12.4
percent in Wau, 11.3 percent in Malakal, and 7.8 percent in Juba due
to a hike on food prices.

Between March and April prices went up by 0.6 percent. By regions, in
Juba prices fell by four percent and in Wau 1.1 percent. In Malakal,
they went up by 4.2 percent.
