ALLIANCE CONSTRUCTS VCT CENTRE IN TORIT Thursday, 16 May 2013 14:30 | International HIV/AIDS Alliance constructed a two-room voluntary counselling and testing or VCT Centre worth 40,000 US dollars in Torit, Eastern Equatoria state.
Aniku Joseph, International HIV/AIDS Alliance Eastern Equatoria state Programme officer said the centre is to enable the youth access counselling and testing and other health services without fear. He said Swedish International Development Agency or SIDA funded the construction of the VCT centre. Mr. Aniku revealed that the construction of the VCT centre followed a study that young people fear to access services at the public health centres. He said the state ministry of Housing and Public Utility supervised the entire construction process of the centre. Equatoria United Brothers Company Limited constructed the Centre. The new building is an extension of Torit Youth Centre, initially constructed by Merlin for training and other services provision. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "South Sudan Info - The Kob" group.
