Medical Doctor Arrested Over Murder Of His Wife
The Police in Wau, Western Barh el Ghazal State (WBGS) are holding a doctor for alleged murder of his own wife. 22 May 2013 By James Deng Dimo WAU, 22 May 2013[Gurtong] – Dr. Amose Clerto Hussen is under serious investigation for murdering his wife on Monday night in his own house. According to his neighbours, Amose was drank throughout the night drank, he is suspected to have beaten his wife to death as the corpse was found with bruises. It’s also said that after killing his wife, Dr. Amose in the morning attempted to borrow a hospital double cabin vehicle to ferry out the corpse from their family house. The coupled stayed alone in the house without any relative and any child which has made it a bit difficult to establish more facts on the circumstances that led to the death of the wife. According to the medical report, there was no poison linked to the death, their sleeping room was also searched by the police and founded empty from any poisonous container. The State Hospital Director General Dr. Bhakit Mawien Upur declined to speak out on the incident, saying the issue of Wau Teaching Hospital has gone beyond him that he could not comment on anything. The murder comes a day the doctors of the hospital presented their petition to the state government, calling for more protection following the last week’s deadly attack on the hospital that claimed the life of one of their colleagues. The State police commissioner was not available for comment when Gurtong visited his office for more updates.
