Security operatives arrested 13 people for conducting illegal
registration of residents for plot allocation in Torit, capital of
Eastern Equatoria.

The suspects, including Fodofodo Boma chief, on Wednesday were moving
around Torit to register households for five Pounds to acquire land
for settlement, Radio Emmanuel reported.

Torit County Commissioner German Charles Ojok confirmed the arrests to
the press on Thursday saying some individuals were also involved in
photocopying and selling household registration forms at 25 pounds.

Commissioner Ojok said the County authority deployed security
