Governor To Constitute Think-Tank To Boost Development
Governor Louis Lobong announced his administration is set to
constitute a state think-tank of resource-mindful people whose
services shall be offered to the administration on a voluntary basis.

TORIT, 07 July 2013 [Gurtong] – “You have to agree with me that once
we willingly roll up our coats and work together, we will stimulate a
turnaround strategy for economic growth and create jobs for people to
reduce hunger and poverty in this state,” he said while addressing the
state leaders in Torit.

He believes that with healthy cooperation, development efforts will
easily be attained because people’s minds are brought together saying
the same applies to seeking peace stability.

“Let us work hard together to enable people of Eastern Equatoria state
realize their potentials to build a peaceful, harmonious and
prosperous state,” Governor appealed to all the state politicians.

The governor said that he is planning for a peace and reconciliation
meeting with all the leaders of this state in order to bring the minds
together and discuss on how to achieve a peaceful and prosperous
state.

In a related development, Hon. Lobong announced that his
administration is set to constitute a state think tank of
resource-mindful people that will include the Members of Parliament
whose services shall be offered to the administration on a voluntary
basis.
