Maridi, Mundri Reconcile Border Dispute
The communities of Maridi and Mundri West in Western Equatoria State
have amicably resolved their border dispute, an official has said.

YAMBIO, 06 July 2013 [Gurtong] - Mundri West County commissioner Lexon
Maburuk has reported that the communities has border line dispute at a
place called Langua which affected the administrations in the two
counties on the civil servants salaries.

Hon. Maburuk said this confusion has been there for quite long time
without the notice of the higher authorities.

Both commissioners held a security meeting in June at the disputed
area where the
final determinations of the border line between the two counties that
lies on a bridge located in a location called Lafa that split Langua
village into two giving the main centre to Mundri West.

He proclaimed that a peaceful celebration will take place in Langua in
August where a sign post will be set up to show the border line
between Maridi and Mundri West.
