By Jacob Achiek Jok BOR, 16 July 2013 [Gurtong] –Speaking to journalist in Bor, the commissioner Dr. Agot Alier Leek has said that Yau Yau is de-stabilizing communities in all counties adding that the rebel leader is re-arming the local people in Pibor County. “So even if we call for peace, as the president calls it, the governor calls and the presidential peace committee under the archbishop of the Episcopal Church of Sudan is there calling but with the presence of these criminals who are fighting in Pibor, peace may not come,” Commissioner Agot said. Alier said that he doesn’t know if peace may not come by itself unless Yau Yau himself responded to the amnesty call granted to him by the president or may be he clear away from the area. He said that authorities and local people have been calling for peace but the solution is to let criminals go away from Pibor adding that bandits are the causes of the annex in the area. The commissioner blamed the rebel leader who has presented an agenda which does not belong to the people of Pibor County and who do not belong to the Murle community. He urges the ordinary Murle, Nuer, Anyuak, Kachipo, Jie, Ngalam and Dinka people living in Jonglei that their appeal will be always to let peace coexists as brothers and sisters of the same state.
