*BOR, 01 October 2013 [Gurtong] –* In the statement, Alex Taban, the
chairman of Uganda community in Bor, Jonglei state says it is not necessary
for foreigners who come as investors to battle with citizens in the work
meant for them in their own country.

Alex assures that no foreigner is necessary to work as a Boda-Boda or sell
water and says they are just gambling but time will come where they will
show their maximum work.

“Actually a foreigner who comes as an investor cannot come and sell water;
just we were giving example, but time to come, local people will take
over,” Alex Taban, chairperson of Uganda community in Bor said.

He reveals that he will soon be meeting with his people to make sure each
and everybody should be holding an identity card showing what he/she is
doing in the state.

“It is not our work to operate in Boda-Boda business activity; just we were
gambling but time to come, if someone work for business, he/she will show
that he/she is a business person or constructor,” he said.

Taban says the work of selling water was started by the foreigners but the
local citizens just come recently and I call it a challenge adding that
foreigners were the first to show the work of Boda-boda but after, they
left it to nationals.

“Even this work of selling water will be left to nationalities when
becoming benefitting because when we start anything, citizens just
interfere,” he stresses.

He calls the state Government to register foreigners to be known what
he/she is doing or working for in Jonglei state.

Alex urges Country mate to harden their hearts and work for better future
saying that “when you has been born as a boy, you cannot stay relying on
your parent waiting for father to gives you something but to struggle for
yourself for future.”
