*TORIT, 02 October 2013 [Gurtong] – *The decision was taken through his
Order No.2/2013 to temporarily appoint Hon. Severino Maira Janus to act in
the Committee of the Public Service, Labour and Human Resource Development
as Chairperson.

“This comes in Pursuant to Article 5(2) (3) of the Conduct of the Business
Regulations, General Authority of the Speaker and because of the
inactiveness of the committee of the public service, labour and human
resource development,” the Speaker says in his memo.

The speaker urged the Committee to respect the order accordingly as the
appointment was necessary because, the chairperson of the committee is sick
and his Deputy is Away.

Dedemoi is among the chairpersons who took office in July’s to head the
Specialized Committees whose colourful swearing in ceremony was
administered by the President of the High Court in the state, was also
witnessed by the state Deputy Governor Jerome Gama Surur and was held at
the state Legislative Assembly Hall.

Hon. Severino Maira Janus luckily retained his position to deputize his
fellow SPLM’s Hon. Cyprian Lokale Khamis from Kapoeta North County in the
position of Specialized Committee of Humanitarian Affairs, Human Rights,
Peace, Reconciliation and Legislation.
