President Kiir in South Africa for state memorial service of Mandela *JOHANNESBURG, 10 December 2013 *- The President of the Republic of South Sudan H.E. Gen. SalvaKiirMayardit arrived in Johannesburg yesterday evening heading a high level delegation of Four National Ministers and Senior Officials from South Sudan to participate in the State memorial funeral service of the late freedom icon and former President of South Africa Nelson Madiba Mandela.
Late Mandela aged 95 died on December 5 after battling with series of lung infections for the last two years. President Kiir is among the over seventy heads of state and Governments around the Globe pay his last tribute to the late Madiba today at the FNB Stadium (Soccer City) in Johannesburg.
