*A thirty-five-year old Somali man hanged himself and was found dead on
Wednesday morning on a tree near Kor-Bow Bridge opposite El Sabbah Children
Hospital in Juba.*

One of the eye witnesses who stayed with the deceased said the late Samuel
Abedi wrote a letter indicating that he had problems with his wife.

Police Spokesperson Colonel James Monday Enoka confirmed that the deceased
committed suicide last night.

He said the body was taken for post-mortem and further investigation so
that his relatives get death certificate.

Colonel Monday clarified that when somebody attempts suicide he would be
jailed for a period not less than one year because suicide was a crime and
not the only way of resolving problems.

He warned that committing suicide was not accepted by the law and in all
religious beliefs.

The Police spokesperson said suicide case would not be taken for granted.
