"Our communities at the payam levels are committed to offer what is available to support the national army who are fighting the rebels." The State Chairperson of the Chamber of Commerce who is also a member of the state CMC Charles Wol said they are also contributing what they can to support the CMC. "The state government is here not only contributing to support the army but also civilians who fled violence in Unity state and have arrived in Wau," said Livio Bhara, a member of the state CMC. He said the state government is now joined by Non-Governmental Organization including the IOM and UNICEF in providing shelters, food and medical facilities to the IDPs in the state.
