*The peace negotiations between the SPLM-N and the Sudan Government
scheduled to take place on Wednesday in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia was
adjourned.*

Nuba Mountains Media Secretary Chatigo Amoja Delman told Voice of Peace
that the African Union Peace Mediator Thabo Mbeki postponed the talks until
February 13 due to crisis in Central African Republic and South Sudan.

He said SPLM-N will focus on the cessation of hostilities and access of
humanitarian aid agencies to bring food relief and medicines to affected
Nuba.

Mr Amoja said the Government and SPLM-N will talk on political part after
finalizing humanitarian assistance in Nuba Mountains, Blue Nile and Darfur
regions.

He added that it was bad to start negotiating on power sharing while
civilians have no food, medicines and other basic needs.

The secretary stressed that the talks between the Movement and Government
will take place according to the United Nations Security Council resolution
2046.

He said over 2.5 million people in South Kordofan are in dire need of
humanitarian assistance.
