*JUBA - 9 February 2014 [Gurtong] - *"There is nothing but it is a boat
that got burnt. We don't know what exactly got burnt but there are
commodities inside there," Col. John Tomilyan, Central Equatoria State
Director General of Fire Brigade said in a statement.

He said they have launched investigation into the incident.

Alison Samuel, the Deputy Director of Kator Payam Konyokonyo Zone
exclusively explained that the motor boat that got burnt used to carry
petroleum products to Upper Nile and Jonglei States.

Samuel blamed the Directorate of the Fire Brigade for failing to station
first aid machinery at the port.

"Fire Brigade should have brought a special force here with fire
extinguishers that are special for petroleum and kerosene," Samuel said.
"Otherwise we in our office we are going to decide that this port should be
closed down because it is causing damage and pollution in the area and the
water and destruction of wealth."

This is the fourth time a motor boat gets burnt on fire accident after
three burnt last year at the same place in a similar incident.
