Presidential Press Secretary Ateny Wek Ateny told journalists in Juba that President Salva Kiir Mayardit was happy to learn that Prophet Ngundeng did not envision Dr Riek Machar as the only one with the future of Nuer and South Sudan entirely. He added that government now has great honour to Ngundeng prophecies for peace and prosperity of Nuer and all South Sudanese. Mr Ateny said the clarification from Ngundeng's family protects the prophet's spiritual integrity. He expressed apology for the misconception that he was a prophet of doom as projected by many Nuer politicians.
