TORIT, 06 January 2015 [Gurtong] - While wishing the public of Eastern Equatoria State and South Sudan in general a happy and prosperous 2015, he strongly dismissed what he termed as rumours circulated by propagandists and enemies of the Country's peace that he plans to joining the SPLM-O, led by the former Vice President Riek Machar Teny, against the government. The Executive Chief Lochule who denounced those behind the spreading of what he described as false information, has vowed to continue being loyal to the current leadership of the Republic of South Sudan. "Fellow countrymen and women, as the New Year enters its dawn, it becomes unfortunate that other people plot against other leaders like me by falsely accusing of joining the rebel group under the command of Riek Machar." “This is absolutely false information labeled against me and I would like to inform you my dear fellow South Sudanese citizens including the entire leaders of both the state and national levels, that what has been going around misinforming the public that I had joined the rebel group against my elected government is baseless." The Chief has pledged to deliver services to his people within his jurisdiction of Loriyok Payam. "I would like to further inform you that my people and I are strongly standing behind the elected government of Eastern Equatoria State and that of National led by H.E General SalvaKiirMayardit."
