BOR, JUNE 20, 2015 – [Gurtong] – Kong who was speaking during the SPLM
meeting in Bor on Saturday said the United Nations sanction may target
individuals’ who are obstructing the peace process in the country.

Kong told government officials to be vigilant on what they say as
reports are likely to be compared.
He said they shouldn’t Panic because nobody among them is obstructing
the peace process in Jonglei state.

“I am sure, if there are people to be sanctioned, then it will not be
us who will be sanctioned because those who are obstructing the peace
are not among us,” states Governor John Kong Nyuon.

In a twist he explained that those blocking the peace process are
those who are afraid of leaving their positions in government.

“We are ready to move from Chair to “Bambar”, (stool). So those who
think that they couldn’t move from the chairs are those who are
obstructing the peace,” He said.
