SPLA Repulse Rebel’s Attack in Wau County The Commissioner of Wau County in Western Bahr el Ghazal state, Elia Kamilio Dimo says the Sudan People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) today Monday morning repulsed an attack by the SPLM-IO on their position in Wau County Parajalla Payam. 29 June 2015
By James Deng Dimo WAU, June 29, 2015 [Gurtong] – “The forces of SPLA in Opposition attacked our forces this morning and they were repulsed in Parajalla,” Dimo told Gurtong from Bagari Wau County headquarters. “The SPLA forces are in full control of the area and the situation on the ground is quite normal after the incident,” he said. However the Commissioner did not clarify any casualty on both sides, as the SPLA forces are still pursuing the attackers. “Our forces are now in the forest pursuing the rebels seen heading towards the Western part,” he said. Parajalla is located about 30 miles South West of the state capital.
