*BOR, 23 July, 2015 [Gurtong] *– Information Minister, Sam David said that
the decree which was issued on 17 July, relieving Joseph Lolimo from his
position of Deputy Chief Administrator for Administration and Finance and
Okony Simon Morri, the Administrator for Finance.

He said this is the first reshuffling of GPAA’s leadership since its
formation by the President of the republic of South Sudan in 2014.

David said the former Deputy Chief Administrator for Service Delivery, Apee
Ojullo was appointed to the post of Administrator for Finance replacing
Okony Simon Morri.

He said that Hon. David Okiewer, an MP representing Pochalla County in the
national government has been appointed as Deputy Chief Administrator of the
Greater Pibor Administrative Area and Khalid Ono as Deputy Chief
Administrator for Administration and Finance.

Sam David believes that the appointment of David Okiewer is a good move
towards peace and stability in Pochalla, a home to Anyuak ethnic community
which has experienced sectional violence this month.

“General David Yau Yau has tried to approach him [David Okiewer] so that
good governance is created within GPAA,” Sam David told Gurtong on Thursday.

Last week the honorable Member of Parliament representing Pochalla South in
the Jonglei State Legislative Assembly, John Joseph Abulla reported that
more than 7,000 people were displaced during the recent fighting in
Pochalla town.
