*TONJ, 29 July 2015 [Gurtong] - *The Governor of Warrap State on February
25 upgraded Kuacjok town clerk to an administrative unit of Kuacjok City
Council, appointing its administration to manage the city affairs into
which Mr. Ajiek Ajiek Majok was appointed as the Mayor and Joseph Anei
Madoor appointed as the deputy.

On Tuesday July 28, Madam Nyandeng Malek relieved the two officials from
the post.
In his statement to the media Mr. Joseph Anei Madoor said, “Reference to
recent gubernatorial decree issued by Hon. Governor of Warrap state in
which she relieved me and my boss, allow me to take this opportunity to
welcome the decision made.”

“I wish to thank the entire populace of Kuacjok Municipal Council for
having cooperated with us in our tenure. In this respect, I want to urge
all my supporters to remain loyal and support the leadership of Warrap
State under the elected Governor because being relieved from position
doesn’t mean enmity,” Madoor continued.

Madoor said that his dismissal is normal describing it as a mere
administrative routine.
Madam Nyandeng Malek has been opposed several times by her former Ministers
and Commissioners.

Mr. Madoor previously worked as the Director for political and public
relations in the office of the Governor and later appointed as Deputy Mayor
earlier this year.

“To the best of my knowledge, I want to reiterate my commitment and loyalty
to the system in which I had worked for, whereas I will never attempt to
copy and paste the habit of tarnishing the image of a government once being
relieved,” Madoor said.

“I promise that i will never join any group of facebook fighters against
our state government for the very reason that my loyalty to SPLM movement
loftier ideals is far greater than my individual interest,” concluded his
statement.
